The Blog
This is the eleventh incarnation of my personal blog. I started blogging way back in 2002, when I discovered the phenomenon itself. I’ve been keeping a journal since the sixth grade, so it seemed only natural to start blogging as I started spending more time online. I started at Blogger, because LiveJournal still required invite codes and I needed a free host. I made the switch to WordPress in July 2006.

The third and fourth ones are only thumbnails. I tried to make them myself before I actually knew what thumbnails were.
Other Bits of Web Presence
Fanlistings
AKA: When innocent habits go bad. I forget when I first discovered fanlistings, or which one was the first one I joined. All I know is that I got hooked. When I found the fanlisting for joining fanlistings, it was like I was finally among my people. It’s like an alternative profile. By seeing 50×50 representations of things I liked enough to seek out the FLs, you get an idea of who I am.
LiveJournal
I started my LiveJournal in August 2003, with an account creation code provided by my ex-boyfriend, which he got from a friend of his. I intended it to be comments-only, and it largely remains so. I kept a uJournal for private entries, since Blogger doesn’t have that kind of security functionality, but when uJ folded, I migrated everything to LJ (ah, the beauty of open-source… and the frustration of free hosts). Currently, I use my LJ for private entries and occasional ordinary entries. I also used it for daily posts of the meditation from The Word Among Us so I’d have them for reference, but then I subscribed to the print version. It is friends-locked, but if you comment on the public entry, I’ll friend you. It helps if your profile or comment tells me who you are; I take the concept of “friends” relatively seriously.
I am on facebook. I will not friend you unless I can figure out who you are. I also have a policy against friending anyone’s significant others unless I actually know them. If you want to friend me, then you probably know enough about me to find me.
